Photography in one form or another has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Professionally, I currently assign, produce and edit more than 170 photo shoots a year and research stock for 10 magazines in my role as senior photo editor at McMurry/TMG (formerly TMG Custom Media) in Washington, D.C.

Personally, I carry a camera with me every day because I never know what might catch my eye. In earlier years I was a copy editor, a proofreader and even a sportswriter. I have a journalism degree and still enjoy writing.

This site will focus on photography I’ve commissioned and researched at McMurry/TMG and USA Weekend and on my personal work. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many photographers I’ve worked with over the years for making me look good.
