National Geographic

I had the privilege of being the photo editor of the National Geographic book Mystery of the Ancient Seafarers, by the esteemed deep-sea explorer Robert Ballard. The book covers six maritime civilizations—Phoenicians, Black Sea, Egyptians, Minoans, Greeks and Romans—and includes historical photographs as well as coverage of Ballard’s expeditions. The book contains 160 photographs, paintings and illustrations from a wide array of sources.
